DevOps Engineer - M/F/D
Responsibilities
- Developing pipelines that automate the stages of building, testing, and deploying applications. This includes defining the tools and technologies to be used.
- Monitoring and maintain these pipelines to ensure they operate efficiently, continuously implementing improvements to optimize the software delivery process.
- Automating deployment processes and system configurations using tools like Docker for application containerization and Kubernetes for orchestrating containers, thereby facilitating deployment and management of applications across different environments.
- Creating automated scripts and configurations to reduce human errors and ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Contributing to redesign and architecture of the existent application to migrate to Azure cloud, creating the infrastructure with Terraform
- Monitoring the cloud costs and assuring they do not exceed the defined threshold.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Incorporating security controls at every stage of development and deployment, including vulnerability assessments and access management.
- Raising awareness among teams regarding security best practices and potential threats, ensuring that security is a shared priority.
- Writing and maintaining detailed documents outlining development processes, system configurations, and technical architecture to ensure clarity and understanding.
Profile required
- Have 1-2 years of professional experience in a DevOps role or a similar position
- Know Azure cloud platforms (experience with migration is a strong plus)
- Are profficient in Python scripting languages
- Have experience in using the following technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana & Logstash),
- Know DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Jenkins...)
- Are familiar with configuration management tools.
- Show excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
