Role Description: Head – CFT Data and Referential
Purpose of the
Role
Head - CFT/DAR
The global role of Head CFT – Data and Referential (DAR) is responsible to
- Define & Implement data platforms
- Technical and functional leadership of referential data and data quality systems
- Lead and drive global CFT DAR IS Strategy by ensuring strong partnerships with other CFT CDS teams & IT Filiere
- Lead the technology teams of CFT/DAR
- Align & implement CFT & CFT/DAR OKRs

Delivery &
Operations
• Technically & functionally hands-on to define and implement Data platforms such as Databricks
• Builds the technology roadmap for Data and referentials in connection with the Group's strategy, GCOO's
priorities, CDO & CFT goals
• Timely delivery (CTB, CTA, Run, Transformation) & production oversight of CFT/DAR scope of work as per agreed KPIs
• Work with stakeholders globally, to provide direction about scope of work managed and meet long-range strategic goals
• With CFT CDS teams, IS Filiere & business partners to
o Establish a strong and effective working relationships
o Co-construct initiatives to help transform business or improve efficiency
o Relay CFT/DAR IS trajectory by promoting CFT/DAR TSP & transformation programs
• Ensure that the required organization structure is in place; resources are well deployed and utilized to deliver objectives
and vision
• Ensure operations’ hygiene in terms of financial steering, critical risk & regulatory mandates
• Deliver the OKRs
• Build a strong operational resiliency of operations
• Ensures the protection of the company and the application of the Group and GCOO strategy: define the implementation
within respective management team and initiate its implementation, balance long and short-term impacts to form sound
judgements and decisions, ensures strict observance of the law, the rules/framework and ethics when rolling out strategy
Transformation
• Technically hands-on to define and implement of Data factory e.g. Databricks
• Challenge the status-quo and propose market best practices for data platforms
• Spearhead the migration of legacy platforms to the target platform as per the defined architecture standards
• Lead, contribute, participate to global CFT/DAR Transformation programs
• Ideate, seek & collate feedback on CFT/DAR strategy from team members, business partners, stakeholders; convert them
into actions and communicate the same pertaining to referential systems and related data quality.
• As part of leadership team, drive, lead or participate to CFT, GCOO, GSC or IT Filiere wide initiatives that brings value
• Drive CFT/DAR global workforce strategy by executing talent acquisition and talent management plans with HR
• Promote reusability by proposing offers of 1P or those in GAB or develop ones that can bring value
• Promote a culture of agility, client centricity, efficiency, commitment & innovation with an open mindset thereby stimulating
open debates, supporting new ideas and talents (especially reg. ESG stakes, Data Maturity and IS), boosts both alignment
and cooperation to break the silos
• Create the conditions for operational efficiency and cost monitoring
• Ensure realization of ESG related objectives that includes diversity, citizenship programs, CSR by design, Green IS
• Embody a culture of ‘OneCFT’ & be a model to promote it amongst peers, staff and stakeholders at large
• Contribute to building strong brand recognition for SG locally & self thro’ various programs conceptualized at CFT level
• Anticipates change: explore permanently warning signs of evolution (economy, regulation, organization, competition,
technology) and deliver in a timely manner energy and ideas into the organization to allow proactive adjustment while
maintaining employability.

• Provide strong leadership to the team to realize the OKRs
• Build a future ready CFT/DAR leveraging SG leadership model; visibly & consistently behaving in ways that reinforces our
vision and encouraging others to do the same
• Establish a strong people engagement process (townhalls, team meet ups, skip levels, 1:1s…..), disseminate information to
the teams in a timely manner & addressing concerns or grievances
• Ensure competency and capabilities of the team are at the right level by leveraging upskilling & reskilling programs;
continuously evaluate the baseline
• Build plans to address current as well as future evolution of global CFT/DAR organization
• Build a performance-oriented culture by communicating the significance of merit to the teams & with appropriate review
mechanisms
• Roll-out measures to improve attrition & levels of engagement in alignment with organizational targets
• Develop emerging talent & expertise in chosen areas. Act as a coach/mentor to global talents.

• Ensure with accountability a strong succession process within CFT/DAR including managerial succession
• Establishes a culture of responsibility, trust and exemplarity and abides by them in one's daily demeanor: communicates

Qualifications
• Strong academic background with a Bachelors or Masters in technology and preferably an MBA
• Experience of handling large teams and complex programs in a global matrix environment is required
• Knowledge of Finance domain in a Banking environment is required
• Operational Knowledge and technical experience of data engineering & data platforms is mandatory
• Experience of tools such as Databricks, Collibra etc
• Strong experience in Referential domain is pre-requisite
