Responsibilities

Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Transformation Project Office. This role will contribute to the strategic initiatives and transformation of the Global Support Function within the Investment Banking Business.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage and coordinate projects across various business areas, including Global Operating Model, Operational Efficiency, Financial Steering, organizational transformation, innovation projects, and business projects. You will be working closely with stakeholders and reporting to sponsors on business or IT initiatives.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Manage and coordinate projects independently, contributing to global initiatives within the international project office community

  • Align project objectives, manage stakeholders, and report to sponsors on business or IT initiatives

  • Take charge of continuous improvement actions and participate in the development of knowledge sharing and assistance between project managers

  • Collaborate on cross-cutting initiatives, such as CSR and communication

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in Project Management, with a proven track record in financial institutions or consulting firms

  • Strong knowledge of the Investment Banking environment and business

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills, supported by Agile, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies

  • Experience delivering projects that combine IT solutions and business process change

  • Adaptability and agility in challenging environments, with the ability to work in a task-force mode

  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a positive mindset, strong organizational skills

  • Ability to steer the initiatives and adapt the communication

  • Curious, proactive and result driven

  • A strong academic background, preferably a Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or Engineering

  • Fluency in English is required, with Polish and French as assets
