Responsibilities

We are part of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, within the GBTO/FTB division. Our teams in Warsaw, Paris, and Bangalore design and deliver innovative solutions for Financing Business Monitoring. We work in autonomous, agile feature teams, applying best practices in software craftsmanship and DevOps.

We’re looking for a skilled Fullstack Java Developer to join our Warsaw team. You’ll contribute to building and enhancing business-critical applications, following a “you build it, you run it” approach, and collaborating closely with international colleagues across France and India.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features.

  • Following software craftsmanship and DevOps best practices.

  • Providing production support, bug fixes, and enhancements.

  • Contributing to release management and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.

  • Collaborating within the Dev Chapter and across teams.

  • Actively participating in Scrum ceremonies (3-week sprints).

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience as a developer.
  • You are more backend oriented (it’s 70% of work).
  • You have strong skills in Java (17+), Spring Framework (Boot and Batch), Angular 15+, SQL.
  • You have database knowledge: Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • You have experience with hexagonal architecture.
  • You are familiar with CI/CD/Dev tools: GIT, Docker/Kubernetes.
  • You have expertise on Craftmanship practices: TDD, BDD, Clean Code, SOLID principles.
  • You combine technical expertise, problem solving and communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English.
