Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilities    
· Utilize an understanding of multi-asset electronic trading and transaction cost analysis to develop and operate the agency execution algorithms for APAC trading platform.
· Engage in quantitative analysis of Asia trading activities of our clients, providing performance feedback and advice to the clients in support of our execution and advisory efforts. 
· Excellent communication skills to engage both internal stakeholders and external clients by providing high quality trading analysis and market micro-structure insights. Possess an understanding of the regulatory trends and monitor/track their impact on execution. 
· Produce publications on client trends and observations in the electronic marketplace.  
· Provide analysis of the Global Futures microstructure and specification of requirements to propose enhancements and projects around Global Futures algo execution. 
· Provide support for testing, validation and implementation of enhancements  
· Perform adaptation and operation of existing back-testing environment and quantitative analysis tools to support that analysis  
· Responsible for the agency execution algorithm platform supervision on a day-to-day basis  
· Also provide general high touch and low touch client coverage in a secondary/backup capacity

Technical skills required
· Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis on big dataset
·  Strong quantitative modeling skills: data mining, regression, optimization and operations research, machine learning, linear/non-linear time series analysis
· Experience as a quant for a low touch equities or listed derivatives business and/or algorithmic trading universe
· Experience in programming environments and proficient in different quantitative analysis tools: R, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, KDB+

Working Experience required
· Experience in writing, reading and implementing coding for Quantitative Trading (Book logic, Strategy type etc for financial assets).
· Experience in working in a research, TCA and/or Quantitative Trading advisory function.

Education
· Preferred - a degree in Financial Mathematics, Financial engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Physics

The Execution Services group within EQD Prime, APAC, is responsible for servicing Societe Generale's client base transacting across APAC and global markets. The business incorporates global exchange traded derivatives coverage, cash equities coverage, synthetic equities coverage, sponsored DMA coverage, and all aspects of execution consultancy across these products. Execution Services includes high-touch sales-trading, program-trading, electronic-trading, and SDMA. With coverage desks in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Mumbai, Sydney, and Singapore, the regional APAC execution services team work as a cross-product, cross-execution vertical, coverage unit, providing best in class execution servicing to Societe Generale's diverse client base.
