Responsibilities

We are looking for a DevOps Technical Lead with strong Docker and Linux experience to create, maintain, and improve our Docker Catalog and related automation. This role will own container image lifecycle, security scanning, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•        Containerization & Image Management

o        Create and maintain Dockerfiles following industry best practices.

o        Manage and maintain Docker image registries (e.g. Harbor).

o        Scan container images for vulnerabilities and remediate findings.

o        Build and maintain Docker images and their dependencies.

•        DevOps & Tooling

o        Work with DevOps and software tools such as Terraform, Maven, Python, Nginx, OpenJDK.

o        Maintain and run Docker image build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.

o        Maintain workflow files and Docker image code repositories.

•        Linux & Security

o        Manage Linux package installations and updates.

o        Administer multiple Linux distributions.

o        Handle security certificates and ensure compliance.

•        Artifact & Dependency Management

o        Use and administer JFrog Artifactory for Docker image dependencies and distribution.

•        Additional Skills

o        Create and maintain documentation in Markdown.

o        Maintain and update instruction files and prompt files in Copilot.

•        Collaboration & Innovation

o        Work closely with peers and stakeholders to implement best practices.

o        Use GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity (training will be provided as needed).

Required Skills & Experience

•        Proven experience creating and maintaining Dockerfiles and container images.

•        Hands-on knowledge of Docker image registries (Harbor preferred).

•        Experience with container vulnerability scanning and remediation.

•        Familiarity with DevOps tools (Terraform, Maven, Nginx, OpenJDK, etc.).

•        Strong Linux administration skills, including package management across distributions.

•        Knowledge of security certificates management.

•        Experience with JFrog Artifactory for artifact and image management.

•        Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.

•        Ability to write clear technical documentation in Markdown.

•        Working knowledge of GitHub Copilot (or willingness to learn).
