Are you ready to kick-start your career in the dynamic world of Prime Services and Client Assets? Société Générale is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Client Assets Analyst to join our dedicated team supporting global execution, clearing, and financing solutions.

About the Role

As a Trainee Client Assets Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring our compliance with FCA CASS regulations by performing key operational and control activities related to client money. You will work closely with the Client Assets Oversight Officer and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of risk management and regulatory adherence.

What You Will Do

  • Perform daily client money calculations and CASS controls across multiple timeframes (daily, weekly, monthly, annual)

  • Assist in the preparation of management information and materials for the Client Assets Oversight Committee

  • Support maintenance and updates of CASS policies, procedures, and risk & control mappings

  • Participate in automation initiatives using tools such as Alteryx, Power Query, Excel, and Power BI

  • Assist with compliance reviews, audits, and CASS training coordination

  • Collaborate actively within the team and across global hubs including London, Chicago, Bangalore, Chennai, Paris, and Asia

Profile required

What We’re Looking For

  • A relevant finance or business-related degree (minimum 2:1)

  • Previous internship or experience in corporate or investment banking environments

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret data from multiple sources

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively

  • A keen interest in regulatory requirements and a desire to develop expertise in FCA CASS rules

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
