Lead System Engineer - SEC
Responsibilities
Relevant experience: 10+ years
-
10+ years of experience and at least 7+ years relevant experience in handling industry wide security products.
• Managing Design and deployment , upgrade of Corporate Security Infrastructure
• Managing Desing and Deployment of Firewalls and other security products.
• Troubleshooting of Security related issues as L3 expert.Should be able to upgrade security devices as per the code recommendations
• Expert will act as a final level of escalation for his or her respective domain.
• Able to work closely with vendor technical leaders and experts to come up with a solution and suggest design change.
• Able to do problem management of chronic issues and suggest remediation plans.
• Propose SECURITY Design changes whenever applicable
• Work as a body to approve the design changes in-case of deviation
• Design, Propose security product compliance standards are on-par with global standards
• Ensure that reported vulnerabilities are acknowledged, responded and handled/closed within timelines
• Ensure that capacity management is well planned
• Good communication and presenting skills
• Assertive troubleshooting skills, incident Management and
Product Knowledge
• In depth understanding and hands-on on Check point firewalls
• In depth understanding and hands-on Fortinet Firewalls
• In depth understanding and hands-on McAfee, ZIA or Sky-high Proxy
• Understanding for following will be a plus
o F5 (ASM , GTM and LTM)
o CITRIX (SDX, VPX, MPX)
o GSLB and ADMCertifications
• Any product company – Professional Certification
Day to day work:
- Review the existing process and update it for being more autonomous.
- Propose new process and create new documentations.
- Define improvement plan: how to decrease number of alarm and escalations.
- Deal with Paris NRE TEAM to have approval or be autonomous on the resolution of the incident / alarms.
- Give an improvement plan for reducing number of tickets escalated to Paris team.
