eFX Salesperson
Responsibilities
Join Societe Generale in the Markets division as an eFX Salesperson and be a part of the digital transformation of our global FX business. As a salesperson in electronic FX, you will be at the intersection of markets, technology and data, leveraging each to grow the business and act as an advisory to the franchise. This role works in close partnership across Sales, Trading, and Technology teams, and is at the forefront of key FX initiatives for the firm.
Responsibilities
• Oversee electronic FX distribution for Americas client base (US, Canada and Latin America)
• Responsible for overall growth of electronic FX client footprint across all client segments (HF, AM, Banks and Corporates)
• Ability to take ownership and drive key electronic FX initiatives as part of the global FX strategy
• Manage liquidity and pricing in conjunction with Trading to optimize trade activity with clients
• Work in coordination with FI & Corp FX Sales teams to present Societe General eFX platform to clients
• Prospect and onboard eFX to new clients to grow the total client base
• Market the Algorithmic trading platform & monitor intraday activity
• Provide analysis and insight into client franchise and market opportunities
• Expert in FX market structure and current trends across all FX products (macro news, developments in FX liquidity and technology)
• Provide clients with advisory on methods of execution (e.g.: algo vs risk transfer)
• Coordinate client requests across teams at Societe Generale including, but not limited to, Trading, Engineering, Research, Strategy, Middle Office, and Back Office
• Fluent in the client onboarding & documentation lifecycle
• Monitor new product workflows, upkeep operational issues, and improve processes

Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division brings together the Research, Investment and Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures and Currencies & Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team. The business uses an advisory and innovation mindset, focused on client needs, with a global leader in financial markets engineering. Global Markets is a leading player in derivatives, with unrivaled over the counter and listed derivatives expertise, as well as cross-asset and economic research. Our prime services' offering is a unique combination of execution, clearing, custody and financing services.
• Experience: Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange Products (spot, forward and swaps) and local regulations
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Office Tools (MS Office) + Bloomberg
• Communication skills: Oral and written communication skills are highly valued
• Ability to prioritize: Essential in a fast-paced work environment with evolving priorities
• Attention to detail: Accuracy of work is of utmost importance
• Self-motivation: Ability to work well under high level of autonomy
• Must be available for entertainment with clients and/or office visit travel
• Some technical analysis and ability to make data driven decisions
• At least 5 years previous experience preferred
• BA or equivalent

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
