Trade Support Associate
Responsibilities
In a Hybrid capacity you will need to learn and serve the needs for the two team: Equity Prime Brokerage (EPB) client facing middle office + Corporate action Middle Office.
- Serve as the main point of contact for a set of clients, conducting regular service level reviews and managing client escalation requests.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the trade lifecycle for Asia markets covering Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage (PB).
- Ensure all trades are accurately booked in the Front Office database, justifying any late or amended bookings, and allocated correctly to client accounts.
- Assist with the detection, processing, and booking of corporate action events for equity and bond products, maintaining corporate action information and its impact in internal and booking systems.
- Maintain control over the quality and completeness of recorded data related to trades and corporate actions.
- Understand market specifications on corporate action events across the APAC region and collect elections from trading desks and clients on voluntary events.
- Perform reset payment pre-matching, manage trade-related breaks, and analyze and regularize reported discrepancies.
- Lead the team on daily production and projects, performing second-level checks.
- Assist traders with specific requests by providing effective and innovative solutions.
- Manage client onboarding operationally, including portfolio wrapper setup and reporting configuration.
- Assist with client reporting and respond to client queries related to transactions and corporate actions.
- Streamline booking and corporate action workflows through automation and process review, collaborating with global corporate actions teams.
- Drive initiatives as part of the "Change the Bank" program to improve activities and offerings of the PB franchise.
- Contribute to defining specifications and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new information systems or booking schemes.
- Document and update procedures related to sensitive processes and controls.
- Liaise with other departments and work closely with teams across regions (Asia, Europe, America) including Traders, Sales, • • Back Office, and IT to ensure seamless operational flow and client experience.
- React promptly to incidents, developing long-term action plans to mitigate risks and improve processes.
Profile required
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or similar discipline is preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle topics from multiple streams in a hybrid capacity.
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly setup rapport with teams and build a network within the firm.
- Excellent communication skills: with an ability to use these collaboratively, explain and challenge, as appropriate.
- Track record of working with multiple stakeholders (traders, sales, other middle office, clients, IT teams, Back office and custodian)
- Team Player: Facilitate cooperation between colleagues.
- Accuracy, swiftness, ability to work under pressure in trading environment.
