Responsibilities

  • Work independently with the team and timely complete the tasks being allocated by Team Lead. 
  • Support KYC operations including New Client Onboarding, Existing Client Review and other concerned processes and ensure KYC files are consistently completed in line with policy and procedure.  
  • Take responsibility for the proper management of KYC files and client records in the information systems.
  • Use proper communication skills (verbal and written) when communicating with Front Office. Manage communication & updates between all key stakeholders and help Front Office to understand SG’s KYC requirements and provide additional rationale as to why certain documents are being requested
  • Ownership of the case from the point of documents collection to validation
  • Understand profitability and urgency and challenge the non-standard requests
  • Provide transparency and escalade blocking or complex cases to Front Office or Compliance with expected actions plans. 
  • Comply with Code of Conduct as well as other applicable laws and local regulations, internal policies, compliance rules and procedures (including but without limitation to requirements from the aspects of anti-money laundering, know your client, anti-fraud or combating cross-border gambling & telecom/ network fraud, information security & data protection, foreign exchange management etc.). Take responsibility to report any incidents, suspicious and fraud cases according to bank incident report mechanism/whistle blowing/ escalation requirement immediately. Maintain a high level of personal integrity and uphold the bank's ethical standard both in professional activities and personal conduct
     

Profile required

New Graduated or have limited experience of AML/KYC

Department Description

Responsible for conducting the due diligence for new clients onboarding and its regular review of existing clients. The client identification activities include but not limited to the examination of client documents, identification of actual controllers and ultimate beneficiary owners, corporate and individual identity screening, and client risk rating.
