V.I.E. Operational Risk Analyst
Responsibilities
SGSS Luxembourg’s Risk department oversees operational and credit risks. The team also coordinates outsourced services and monitors audit recommendations, regulators and second-level internal control for SGSS’ management. The main tasks of this department are to:
- Ensure that risks are identified, analyzed, measured and monitored;
- Report on operational risks to management and define with it the risk appetite;
- Coordinate managerial supervision;
- Follow New Product Committees;
- Supervise and monitor outsourced services; recommendations of audit missions.
Responsibilities:
Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) wishes to strengthen its risk management structure.
Reporting hierarchically to the head of the department in charge of risk control of its securities activities, your main task is to:
- Apply the Risk policy in accordance with the SG Group Guidelines
- Implement risk tools in a specific business area
- Contribute to the development of the scope allocated by:
· analysis of operational losses
· analysis of Credit Risk indicators
· identifying and monitoring risk areas and solutions
· analysis of new products and services - Report risks according to the SGSS operating logic, by process and by operational function
- Widely disseminate risk culture.
In addition to monitoring operational risks, you will be required to:
- Working on transformation and innovation: digitizing the team’s dashboards
- Efficiency (optimizing and rationalizing processes and data management by relying on technologies such as Alteryx and Power BI
A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in bank
- A previous experience in bank would be appreciated
Language skills:
Fluent in English
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
- Strong listening and analytical skills
- Proactivity, spearheading of proposals
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
