Lead Systems Engineer - UNIX
Responsibilities
- Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production platform and infrastructure, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security. 
- Monitor, triage & troubleshoot incidents with Unix Infrastructure 
- Install, upgrade, maintain and support Unix Infrastructure 
- Maintain and support services/applications that are part of the Unix team’s responsibilities 
- Contribute to documentation and review standards and operational procedures 
- Enforce technical and security standards for Unix Infrastructure and services 
- Follow internal processes at all time (SOPs, Golden Rules, ITIL, time tracking, escalation, etc) 
- Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge 
- Participate in maintenance, weekend shifts and on duty 
- Ability to work individually or as a team from Non-DevOps to DevOps environment. 
- Awareness to complete product lifecycles with various agile methodologies and experience managing quality and automation in the agile practice 
- Being flexible and responsible to cater to business needs/participate in DR/BCP/UAT/adhoc/Business critical tasks. 
Profile required
Mandatory: Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Redhat Linux OS/UNIX OS.
- Red Hat Linux 7 / 8/ 9 
- Solaris 9/10/11 
- Veritas Volume Manager 
- Scripting - Shell / Perl / Python 
- x86 Hardware (HP/DELL/IBM) 
- Volumetry on SAN / NAS 
- Veritas cluster 
- Vmware and cloud platform 
- Tools: IDM, CyberArk,Ansible, Puppet
