V.I.E. HR Middle Officer

Your main responsibilities :
- Manage daily HR operations: You’ll ensure smooth handling of administrative HR tasks (contracts, employee records, absence tracking, etc.)
- Support new joiners: You’ll lead the onboarding process for new hires, whether permanent, temporary, interim, or VIE (Volunteers for International Experience), ensuring a welcoming and seamless integration
- Be the go-to HR contact: You’ll respond to employee queries, especially regarding VIE and internship contracts, offering a reliable and approachable HR presence
- Assist the HR team in daily activities: You’ll work closely with team members to maintain efficient and people-focused HR processes
- Contribute to talent attraction strategies: You’ll actively participate in implementing our School Relations and Talent Attractiveness Strategy, engaging with universities and young graduates
- Take part in innovative HR projects: You’ll have the opportunity to propose and contribute to cross-functional projects (digitalization, employer branding, employee well-being, etc.)
A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.
Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Human Resources
- A previous experience in an HR Department would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin February 1st, 2026, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
