Project Lead
Responsibilities
The PMO mission supports two strategic programs: AUSTIN Foundation and Platform Foundations.
· AUSTIN program, aims to accelerate massively the move to the Public Cloud while the Cloud Foundation stream has to deliver all the Cloud enablers allowing BU/SU and other streams to reach their ambition.
· Platform Foundation aims to answer to major production stakes on OCS platform with the replacement of the current solution with commercial and supported openstack version.
The mission takes place into the CLD department and more precisely into the TPP team which is in charge of the steering of the product roadmap and of the AGILE at scale delivery of the SG Multi-Cloud platform. He will functionally report also to Platform Foundation program manager in GTE/OPM side.
The PMO, which is an existing position, covers mandatory processes (budget, group reporting) and ensure a high level of quality in the financial program steering.
Objectives
The PMO position ensures :
interaction between the programs and financial stakeholders, as DFIN and COO
Budget process management at program level, still aligned with the actuals
Maintaining steering tools (e.g., PYRAMID) always updated for these two programs (project structuration, budget, reporting, user management, …)
Supporting steering committees with appropriate level of information
Main deliverables expected
· Anticipate Forecast based on the budget utilization and revisiting the numbers from time to time.
· Track and maintain budget utilization and perform necessary follow up with contributing teams for budget consumption etc.
- Budget file structuration and follow-up including actuals over the months
- OPEX / CAPEX follow-up file to closely steer them with ACH teams
- Engagement committee file for presentation to GTE/DIR
- Monthly communication to head of chapters considering the actuals
- Instantiate and follow-up the projects into PYRAMID (WBS, financials)
- Monthly reporting through PYRAMID
- Monthly SteerCo Platform Foundation – Financial part
- Update the rolling forecast file from COO, each quarter
- Monthly SteerCo Platform Foundation (audience GTE DIR) – should be able to present confidently about budget tracking and raise alarm as required.
