Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to create intuitive, coherent, and scalable user experiences for SocGen AI’s artificial intelligence products. You will be involved from the ideation phase right through to delivery, considering business requirements, technical constraints, and regulatory demands related to AI.

At SocGen AI, design plays a central role in building responsible and useful solutions tailored to banking business processes. You will help shape products that automate workflows, facilitate decision-making, and enhance employee efficiency.

You will collaborate with designers, product owners, transformation managers, developers, data scientists, and business experts to design experiences that transform how users interact with our technologies.

Your Responsibilities

Product Design

  • Design end-to-end user interfaces and journeys: research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery.

  • Translate product vision and business needs into concrete, accessible solutions.

  • Define and maintain scalable design systems, aligned with the SocGen AI Design System.

Prototyping

Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.

  • Iterate rapidly to test concepts and validate assumptions.

  • Work in an agile, collaborative environment, closely linked to product squads.

User Research

  • Conduct user research (interviews, testing, surveys) to identify real needs and opportunities.

  • Analyze usage data and field feedback to continuously improve experiences.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with product, tech, and business teams to co-build product vision and design experiences that transform the use of SocGen AI technologies.

  • Facilitate design and product framing workshops.

  • Write clear specifications and work effectively with developers, demonstrating solid HTML and CSS skills.

  • Present design solutions to stakeholders, explaining choices and impacts.

Strategic Thinking

  • Incorporate business, regulatory, and technical considerations into design decisions.

  • Apply responsible AI and accessibility principles to all interfaces.

  • Actively contribute to product vision and roadmap (PI Planning, backlog refinement, story mapping, etc.).

  • Help define OKRs and analyze adoption and retention metrics.

Representative Projects

  • Design intuitive experiences for SocGen AI solutions to be deployed across group entities.

  • Integrate SocGen AI solutions within business processes, considering local specifics (business context, governance, design system, etc.).

  • Contribute to the drafting and application of AI Design Patterns and responsible AI principles.

Profile required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 - 8 years’ experience in product design, covering some or all of the following: UX design, user research, UI design, use of a Design System, project management, front-end specifications.

  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and a good understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS) to collaborate effectively with developers.

  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Matomo) and OKR definition to monitor product impact.

  • Initiative, result-oriented, curious, creative, and willing to take risks.

  • Collaborative mindset, team spirit, and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

  • Professional behaviour, sense of responsibility, rigour, and work ethic.

  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and thrive in a demanding and constantly evolving environment.

You are a match for the profile if you:

  • Have practical experience designing complex user journeys in a banking or regulated environment.

  • Are passionate about AI and language models (LLM).

  • Lead your projects independently, considering business challenges, while seeking feedback and collaborating with other experts.

  • Maintain high design standards, understanding the trade-offs inherent in product strategy.

  • Take a curious and empathetic approach to understanding users, their contexts, and their challenges.
