Financial Reporting Analyst with Italian
Responsibilities
While performing your Financial Reporting Analyst role in Finance Division, you will be assisting management team with activities meant to align the transformation strategies and optimize finance processes defined by Finance Shared Service with the initiatives generated by our Partners` organizations, making use of the latest digital technologies and participation of cross-departmental and cross countries teams (Finance & Controlling, Project Management, IT, Internal Audit).
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Oversee General Ledger functions; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAP - Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
- Manage Team activities and individual performance in the perimeter of accounting closing, reconciliations and controls, accounts certification and IFRS reporting for consolidation purposes;
- Ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy for Group financial reporting in line with IFRS (P&L, balance sheet, inter-company reporting, and notes/disclosures), including analytical reviews on accounts in correlation with business events;
- Demonstrate prior experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for a Group, subject to external audit
- Ensure the allocation of activities and anticipate the peaks to adapt Team`s capacity and make training proposals to the Team Leader;
- Act as a liaison to external auditor and Partner`s finance representatives;
- Is the first level of escalation for the team, by establishing priorities, providing guidance and review Team-members deliverables, while mentoring the junior roles;
- Is a driver for transformation by showing openness to changes and evolutions in terms of continuous improvements, simplification of processes across the team, transitions of new activities , adoption of new technologies and by sharing best practices with peers and partners.
Profile required
- Relevant experience in Finance or Audit; graduate of Academy of Economic Studies, preferably Finance/Accounting/Banking or Polytechnics;
- ACCA certification and previous experience in operations planning roles, would be a plus;
- Good command of Business English (B2) and Italian (B1);
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong knowledge on Microsoft Office and data-analytics capabilities;
- Analytical thinking with a risk management attitude;
- Self-motivated with ability to work remotely, both independently and as part of a global team;
- Team-player, with strong collaboration and presentation skills, who can enjoy working efficiently in a multi-cultural environment;
- Show ability and passion to train, mentor and leverage the skills of others.
