Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing, adapting, and promoting a strong compliance risk culture and control framework in line with Société Générale Group standards and local regulations, while supporting business lines and other departments in maintaining robust compliance practices.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor on compliance requirements and best practices for business lines and support functions.

  • Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring Branch activities comply with Polish and EU laws, as well as Group standards.

  • Supporting new product launches and projects from a compliance perspective.

  • Drafting and updating internal compliance policies to reflect regulatory changes.

  • Performing compliance risk assessments and implementing monitoring controls to prevent and detect risks.

  • Managing incidents, reviewing outsourcing agreements, and overseeing data and client protection compliance.

  • Delivering compliance training sessions and supporting reporting to local authorities.

  • Collaborating closely with global compliance teams to ensure consistent standards and best practices.

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in compliance or a similar role.

  • You hold a degree in law (a background in economics or finance will be considered an asset)

  • You understand Polish and EU regulations related to market integrity and client protection.

  • You communicate fluently in English and thrive in an international environment.

  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Office.
