Responsibilities
Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist (SG Americas Operational Services, LLC, Jersey City, NJ)
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate supplier contracts to optimize financial and service offerings. Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and strategic sourcing initiatives. Assess business requirements and align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives. Analyze category-related spending, monitor market trends, and recommend cost-effective solutions. Lead and participate in procurement and sourcing initiatives, ensuring timely execution. Communicate sourcing policies and procedures to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance. Execute the end-to-end sourcing process, including collecting requirements, negotiating terms, redlining contracts, and finalizing agreements. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Support and contribute to cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiency improvements within the sourcing function. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to SGAOS, 480 Washington Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07310. Salary: $110,500 - $162,000 per year.
Profile required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Project Management, Business Management, Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Purchasing Specialist, Project Specialist, or any occupation/job title/position involving Sourcing and Procurement. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Purchasing Specialist, Project Specialist, or any occupation/job title/position involving Sourcing and Procurement. Must also have the following: 3 years of professional experience sourcing services or products for a company including contract review and pricing negotiations; 3 years of professional experience drafting contract terms and condition negotiations; 3 years of professional experience analyzing the commodity of spend for savings opportunities and service improvements, developing actionable plans, soliciting necessary stakeholder support, and executing the plan through sourcing and negotiation; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Procurement and Sourcing applications; 3 years of professional experience collecting and assessing requirements from business partners and evaluating the market; 2 years of professional experience performing sourcing activities within the related Category of spend (including Consulting/Labor, Travel, and Marketing or other categories of spend across professional or IT services); and 2 years of professional experience negotiating business and legal terms and incorporating terms into contract.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
