V.I.E. Junior Data Analyst
Responsibilities
Banking Operations encompasses the main business units of the bank, i.e.custosy services, clearing and settlement, depositary bank and network. Sbo staff supports the Head of SBO in the deployment of strategic initiatives , especially those leveraging on new technologies capabilities, in order to improve processesses and stream flows of task as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with business units to drive data analysis and enhancement projects, providing insights and recommendations to improve business performance
- Collects, processes, analyzes, and reports on data related to the business, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Designs and deploys management tools, including dashboards and reports, to support business decision-making
- Develops predictive models and applies statistical analysis techniques to uncover insights and trends
- Conducts quality checks on databases, identifies and corrects errors, and ensures data integrity
- Contributes to database quality improvement projects, working closely with technical teams to define requirements and explain results
- Support management in interpretating the results of statistical analyses, providing clear and actionable recommendations to stakeholders

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University in business administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a specialization in Data Science
- Previous experience in:
- Data engineering, including data collection, development of data pipelines, analysis and interfacing with datasets, and related tasks
- Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) development and integration
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) modeling and implementation, including experience with Mistral or similar tools
- Code generation using Metalama or similar tools
Language skills:
- English: Fluent (CEFR Level B2-C1)
- Italian: Elementary (CEFR Level A1-A2)
Operational, technical & soft skills:
- Developing and automating scripts using Python, VBA, and Power Query features
- Utilizing various tools within the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate ideas and information to diverse audiences through various mediums, ensuring clarity and understanding
- Strong attention to detail and rigorous work ethic: Consistently delivers accurate and thorough work, demonstrating a commitment to high standards and a meticulous approach to tasks
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities: Skilled in breaking down complex problems, identifying key issues, and developing effective solutions through critical thinking and a data-driven approach
- Inquisitive and eager to learn: Maintains a strong desire to expand knowledge and skills, actively seeking out new information and opportunities for growth and development
- Collaborative and proactive: Works effectively in team environments, demonstrating a willingness to take initiative and contribute to achieving shared goals and objectives
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Italy is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
