Azure Cloud Solution Architect - Tech lead

Responsibilities:

-         Lead the migration of legacy AWS or Azure application to the Ayvens Azure tenant, ensuring seamless transition, architectural robustness, and compliance with governance and security standards.

•         Design, review, and challenge the architecture of applications targeted for migration, collaborating closely with engineering teams to gather and analyse their requirements.

•         Act as the technical lead in defining best practices and cloud architecture standards aligned with the Group’s cloud strategy.

•         Implement Azure infrastructure components directly, including network, compute, storage, and security services, to support the migrated applications.

•         Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Engineering to ensure compliance with governance and security policies.

•         Stay updated on Azure innovations and cloud industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements into architecture and operational processes.

•         Support knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal teams on Azure technologies and migration best practices.

Contacts:

·        Work closely with Engineering teams to understand application needs and constraints.

·        Collaborate with Ayvens Azure Design Authority to ensure we follow trust and control principles and strategy

·        Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Security teams within Ayvens and subsidiaries.

·        Engage with project managers and stakeholders to align migration and operational activities.

Education & experience:

•         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•         Proven experience as a Lead Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

•         Demonstrated track record managing complex cloud migration projects.

•         Experience managing application migrations from unsecured cloud environments to secure, compliant cloud platforms

•         Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.

Languages

Fluent in English written and spoken.
