Responsibilities
Prime Services Clearing, a division of SG Global Markets, offers multi-asset global agency execution services, clearing services for exchange traded swaps and derivatives, and securities prime brokerage to a broad client base comprised of hedge funds, asset managers, corporate hedgers, pension funds, endowments, financial institutions, broker dealers, and proprietary trading groups. Prime Services & Clearing provides clients a comprehensive set of products and services that include voice execution, electronic execution, direct market access, clearing, financing, and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Prime Services FCM Product Development team is mandated and accountable to ensure the Global Prime Services Platform remains competitive, relevant and innovative in an ever-evolving business landscape. The team acts as a direct liaison to clients, exchanges, and third-party technology providers to keep a pulse on industry landscape, as well as acting as a central resource for coordination amongst SG divisions spanning across Front Office, Risk, Operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance. This role is responsible for the commercial strategic direction of the Listed Derivatives and Cleared Swaps agency business to ensure the platform continues to expand through innovation and client acquisition.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Own and drive execution and clearing product strategy for Listed Derivatives and Cleared Swaps through though leadership, vision definition and partnership with internal business partners and external clients, exchanges, and vendors
• Partner with PSC Sales to manage key client relationships to protect, optimize, and increase revenue
• Maintain c-suite level relationships with exchanges, CCPs, and vendors
• Explore industry, competitor and client trends to ensure SG maintains industry leading position
• Represent the Prime Services division to senior management through regular Product and Business Updates
• Define and document PSC business opportunities and strategic development cases
• Provide day to day product coverage and support to clients and sales teams to drive revenue growth
• Actively participate in client sales pitches
• Engage and maintain relationships with senior support functions to ensure a high level of customer service
• Document procedures and business requirements as required
• Provide training to sales and support staff on new and existing products/platforms
• Evolving the platform to deliver client specific requirements

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:
Technical Skills:
• Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects
• Knowledge of industry standard clearing and trading technology
• Understanding of risk models and management programs
Competencies:
Team members need understanding in the following areas:
• Deep product knowledge and experience with Listed Derivatives, Cleared Swaps, and overall Prime Brokerage
• Strong understanding of pre and post-trade functions including trade flows, clearing, settlements, margin and cash management
• Strategic thinking with commercial awareness of product positioning, competitive and market landscape
• Self-directed and capable of operating independently to effectively drive strategy within Prime Services
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Project Management experience
Qualifications:
Experience Needed:
• 5+ years’ experience in Global Markets with specific focus on Listed Derivatives execution platforms/strategies/vendor connectivity as well as clearing and/or Cleared Swaps
• Sales, Trading, Technology, Operations, Business Management and/or Project management skills
• Existing relationships with industry leadership spanning across clients, exchanges, and vendors
• Ability to effectively partner with clients directly to build strategic solutions and grow the PSC platform
Desired:
• Series 3, 63, and 7 licenses or ability to obtain licenses within reasonable timeframe
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
