Software Engineer - Java AWS
Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for development of applications in Java, Spring based frameworks, AWS cloud
Will be responsible for addressing development problems, Java/AWS design, code standards, code reviews etc
Leverage best practices to design, implement, test and support cloud based solution
Analyze framework consumer requirements, create technical specifications to design or redesign framework components.
Acts as a SPOC for the responsible application
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported areas
Perform test automation in a test driven development environment
Implements DevOps concepts tools & continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins, Maven etc
Implement instrumentation to gather business specific metrics around consumer usage patterns
Profile required
BE/BS or equivalent
Experience developing AWS cloud native java applications
Experience developing in a microservice architecture using docker containers
2+ Years of design, programming experience with Java/Spring/REST/Microservice
Additional experience in Python, Node JS is an advantage
Minimum 1 year of experience developing/deploying solutions to AWS Cloud – EC2, ECS, ELB, Lambda, SQS, SNA, IAM, CloudFormation, DynamoDB and other AWS services
Experience doing IAC (Infrastructure as Code) using AWS CDK or Terraform will be an advantage
Experience on DevOps and tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Jira etc
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
