Responsibilities

Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS), the Securities business line of Societe Generale Group, is one of the main Administration and Custody actor for the Fund industry in Luxembourg.
We offer a complete range of services for institutional clients: liquidity management, compensation, depositary and conservation services, funds administration and asset servicing, transfer agent and issuer services. 
You will be in the Engineering department, within a team of 8 people.

Responsibilities:

  • In support with the Sales team, qualify and analyze the client requests and define the scope of services needed by the client
  • Definition of the target operating model in coordination with internal teams
  • Liaise with the operational teams to define and challenge the prospects/clients profitability
  • Presentation to the management and definition of a relevant pricing in accordance with the client needs
  • Improvement of the deal pricing process
     

     

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that it is mandatory to communicate us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation at least 2 weeks before the assignment start. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree in Finance Engineering from a Business School or University
  • Prior work experience in Finance, in the Fund Industry, would be a plus
     

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)
  • Fluent in French
     

Operational, technical & soft skills:

  • Proficient with Pack Office. VBA is a plus
  • Strong interest for Finance, comfortable with numbers
  • A good team player, flexible, open minded and curious

     

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
