Quantitative Analyst
Responsibilities
Based in Hong Kong, the successful candidate will join the R&D team (MARK/BTO/ARD), which is responsible for the global delivery of pricing and risk management solutions for SGCIB.
Within this client focused team, the Quantitative Analyst will:
- Gather, analyze, and formalize requirements from traders and structurers for derivative pricing tools.
- Design solutions and determine appropriate implementation strategies.
- Advise, assist, support, and train end users—including Sales, Engineering, Trading, IT, and other support functions—on R&D tools and applications.
- Test and validate developed features throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Collaborate daily with counterparts and team members based in Paris.
In addition, the analyst will contribute to the continuous industrialization of the global software library, focusing on robustness, scalability, numerical performance, and integration with other system
The position is based in the Hong Kong SG office.
This position is a 24-months agency-temp contractor role.
Profile required
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years in software engineering or development
- Languages: Fluent in English
- Technical Skills: Strong programming skills (C#, Java, or C++); knowledge of mathematical finance
- Personal Qualities: Team oriented, autonomous, strong communication skills
