Artificial Intelligence & Compliance Enablement Intern
Responsibilities
As part of its compliance transformation, the organization is strengthening its capabilities around Artificial Intelligence (AI), Privacy and Data Protection. The Compliance function plays a key role in ensuring that AI is used responsibly, securely and in line with regulatory expectations.
We are looking for a motivated intern to support this initiative by contributing to AI literacy, use case identification, internal tools support, and innovation activities (AI days, prompt‑thons). This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of compliance, innovation, and AI, in a practical and hands‑on environment.
You will support the Compliance team in building AI knowledge and practical tools for compliance officers, while promoting responsible and ethical use of AI across the organization.
The role is supportive and exploratory in nature: you will research, structure, document, test and facilitate, under the supervision of senior compliance professionals.
Profile required
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Knowledge & Training Support
Research AI concepts relevant to compliance, privacy and data protection
Help create internal learning materials (presentations, one‑pagers, FAQs)
Contribute to an AI glossary and “AI basics for compliance officers”
Support preparation of internal awareness or training sessions
2. AI Use Case Identification
Identify and document potential AI use cases for compliance activities
Collect feedback from compliance officers on needs and pain points
Structure use cases using predefined templates (purpose, benefits, risks)
Develop/Maintain a centralized inventory of AI use cases
3. Prompting & Internal Tool Support
Develop example prompts for compliance‑related activities (e.g. summarization, drafting, comparison)
Test prompts using approved internal tools
Document good practices, limitations and risks (e.g. hallucinations, data sensitivity)
Support user documentation for internal AI tools
4. Innovation & Engagement Activities
Support organization of AI innovation days and prompt‑thons
Help design challenges, materials and evaluation criteria
Document outcomes, lessons learned and best practices
Contribute to post‑event reports and recommendations
What This Role Is Not
To ensure proper governance, the intern will not:
Provide legal or regulatory interpretations
Validate compliance with laws or regulations
Approve AI tools, vendors or use cases
Perform or own risk assessments or DPIAs
All work is carried out under supervision.
Profile & Qualifications
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (law, compliance, public policy, data, technology, business, or related field)
Strong interest in AI, digital innovation, privacy or ethics
Strong analytical and structuring skills
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (ability to produce clear, well‑structured documents and presentations)
Curiosity, autonomy and willingness to learn
Bilingualism
Nice to Have
Basic understanding of AI or data protection concepts
Experience with presentations, documentation or research
Interest in innovation, design thinking or facilitation
