Fixed Income and Currencies Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance pricing systems for fixed income trading.
• Drive modernization of infrastructure and applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide Level 3 support, ensuring proactive incident resolution and system reliability.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and technology teams across Hong Kong, Paris, London, and New York to enhance platform capabilities.
   

Required:

• 3+ years of C#/.NET development experience with solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and modern .NET runtime behavior
• Proven experience building performance-sensitive systems by utilizing concurrency/parallelism, async patterns, profiling and root-cause analysis, benchmarking and regression prevention
• Experience with distributed messaging/event-driven systems, ideally RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with engineering fundamentals: Git-based workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking (e.g., Jira), unit/integration testing
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and document technical decisions clearly
• Engineering ownership mindset: proactive about correctness, latency, and reliability; sees issues through to resolution
• Experience working in a global, multi-site engineering team, coordinating development and support across time zones
• Experience with Apache Ignite (or similar in-memory data grid) for low-latency caching, distributed compute, and real-time data access in performance-critical services
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously end-to-end with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Experience building and supporting production services, including incident management and the ability to debug issues under pressure
• Experience with observability tooling (Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Experience building robust and scalable real-time web applications with ASP.NET and SignalR
• Experience with WPF and MVVM design patterns using DevExpress
• Exposure to containerization/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and/or cloud environments
• Knowledge of fixed income products (e.g., bonds, interest rate swaps, FX swaps, etc.)
