We are looking for a student intern to join the Normative & Regulatory Projects Team within GLBA - Global Banking & Advisory (Corporate & Investment Banking). This role is well suited for students in finance, banking or economics who want to understand how banks operate and how regulatory requirements influence business activities.

You will support topics such as regulatory and conduct risks monitoring, internal controls, and cross‑border frameworks, while helping synthesize complex information and coordinate inputs across teams. We are looking for a fast learner with strong project coordination skills, the ability to juggle several priorities, and solid communication abilities. Knowledge of French is a strong plus, with the opportunity to use and further develop French language skills in a professional, international environment.

This internship lasts 12 months and requires minimum 30 hours per week.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

            1. Support on Projects and Processes Related to Regulatory Requirements (Financial & Non Financial Crime)

  • MIFID II Knowledge & Competence (K&C):

  • Assist the team by helping with monthly checks, identifying basic issues or anomalies, and supporting updates to the annual list of job codes concerned by MIFID II requirements

  • Help update documentation and follow-up actions related to supervision processes

  • Reputation Risk Committees:

  • Assist in collecting information and documentation from internal expert teams for client or transaction reviews

  • Help prepare summaries or materials used by the Committee Chairs (Business & Compliance)

2. Cross-Border Framework Support

  • Help maintain the GLBA mapping of cross-border activities, including gathering initial inputs from Legal, Compliance, and Business Lines

  • Support the follow-up of guideline updates with the Legal team and assist coordination with IT teams (Bangalore) to upload documents to the Cross-Border tool

  • Help ensure GLBA teams have access to the most recent cross-border guidance

3 . Knowledge Management & Documentation Monitoring

  • Assist in monitoring GLBA’s compliance with internal Group requirements: help track review and certification campaigns and support preparation of quarterly committees

  • Support updates of procedures and the GLBA Handbook and help share them through internal channels (Newsletter, Intranet, email)

  • Help monitor completion of mandatory regulatory e-learning trainings and assist in identifying staff who need reminders

           4.  Support in Culture & Conduct (C&C) Activities

  • With IT support, help track the progress of Spot Check campaigns and contribute to small improvements in the internal Spot Check tool

  • Assist in preparing documentation, dashboards, and materials for quarterly C&C governance committees

  • Contribute to internal communication and awareness actions on Conduct topics

           5. Contribution to Regular Controls

  • Help prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual control checks related to key regulations (e.g., Volcker/FBL, Dodd Frank Act, Anti Bribery & Corruption)

  • Support data collection and updates of tracking files for transversal topics such as Booking Policy or Spot Check completion rates
