Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Chapter Manager to set the chapter vision and implementation strategy, develop people and practices, and enable high-quality delivery across squads. The ideal candidate combines people leadership with domain awareness, drives standards and knowledge sharing, and partners closely with Tribe Managers and Product / Delivery leadership to achieve business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Build and communicate the chapter’s vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals

•Lead and develop a chapter of specialists, ensuring continuous growth, coaching and performance management

•Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and other managers to ensure optimal allocation of DEV chapter members and support squad delivery

•Own the staffing model including recruitment, onboarding, repositioning to meet delivery needs

•Drive career development (objectives setting, reviews, growth plans, coaching) and promote a strong community of practice (knowledge sharing, training, best practices)

•Monitor capability maturity, identify skill gaps and implement improvement plans

•Drive standardization of processes, tools and best practices within the chapter’s area of expertise (Development and DevOps)

•Provide guidance to squads on complex topics within the chapter’s domain

•Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, innovation and continuous learning

Profile required

•4-6 years of relevant experience in Software Development or DevOps and strong knowledge of SDLC, and of ITIL and Agile best practices

•Prior experience in people management: hiring, coaching / mentoring, developing, coordinating teams

•Ability to establish standards, processes and best practices for the chapter’s domain

•Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management

•Ability to assess performance, provide constructive feedback and guide career development

•Problem solving mindset and capacity to support teams in overcoming cross-functional challenges

•High degree of ownership, autonomy and accountability

•English – professional proficiency

•French – intermediate (minimum B2)

Nice to have

•Experience in cross-chapter collaboration or matrix organizations

•Exposure to Scaled Agile Frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Spotify…)

•Background in facilitating workshops, technical sessions or upskilling initiatives

•Experience working in high-availability or highly regulated environments
