V.I.E. FI FX & Rates Derivatives Sales
Responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Perform data driven analytics to recommend best risk management strategies
• Suggesting trade ideas
• Pricing / structuring of FX derivatives products
• Monitoring pipeline and reporting for the team
• Anticipate changes in client needs and provide strategic/creative solutions
• Operate as key a member of the US sales team with efforts to maximize client penetration and returns
• Verify that all confirms on trades are accurate and promptly delivered
• Develop strong market knowledge to provide comprehensive risk management solutions to clients, develop new solutions, and construct compelling recommendations
• Cultivate strong relationships with the research & strategy team in order to understand their industries, translates to being impactful to FI clients
• Assist colleagues in the research and resolution of administrative/operational issues
• Understands the complexity of transactions and related risk (credit, market, operational, legal / compliance, etc.)
• Ensure all transactions must be recorded accurately and frequently reviewed for accuracy
• Operate within credit limits as prudent management of the Bank’s exposure
• Work closely with other product partners to provide seamless client coverage including fulfilling client requests for market updates and providing clients with specific product information related to fixed income and currency markets
• Recognize opportunities to cross-sell and to grow share of clients' wallet
• Handling onboarding requests/possibly credit requests & oversight for credit line usage/availability
• Splitting/allocating trades as needed
• Drafting or teeing up email recaps/possibly sending CNFs/CNFOs/VCONs
• Providing daily flow analysis/monthly thematic flow insights
• Checking and allocating sales credits
• Generating the IMM Positioning Report
• Checking trade statuses and follow-ups on trade progress
• Creating hit/miss reports across all our products
• Identifying axe opportunities and trends via analysis of our flow data
• Tracking and reporting rejections/issues in electronic pricing
• Ensuring trades match and clear in a timely fashion

Kindly note that it is also mandatory to provide us with a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document.

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance / Mathematics / Computer Science
A previous experience in Banking / Sales would be appreciated
Language skills:
Fluent in English
Operational, technical & soft skills:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Strong focus and a self starter
- Superior people skills to ensure constructive dialogue and positive cooperation
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
