Responsibilities

1.     Support the delivery of cross asset solutions for financial institution clients

2.     Develop and articulate clear, structured views on market trends, product capabilities (quantitative investment strategies, structured funds, derivatives, structured notes, etc.), and institutional needs

3.     Collaborate with internal experts (including structuring, sales, trading) on client proposals and marketing materials

4.     Prepare client-ready presentations, pitch materials, in Japanese

5.     Assist in identifying new opportunities by analyzing market themes, regulatory changes, and client behavior

6.     Contribute to the team’s business origination through research, analysis, and idea generation

Profile required

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferably in a technical field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines)
  • Strong interest in starting a career at a global investment bank
  • Strong interest in financial markets, financial engineering, derivatives, marketing, and creating new businesses
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex topics clearly
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with professional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-moving market environments
  • High level of ownership, reliability, and personal accountability
  • Native proficiency in Japanese is a must
  • Program duration: minimum 6months, with the possibility of extension up to 2 years.
  • Frequency of work: 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) (negotiable)
  • Starting time: As soon as possible.

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:

  • Japanese (Native) – speaking, writing, reading (mandatory)

  • English (Business) – speaking, writing, reading (mandatory)

  • Fundamental knowledge of equities, fixed income and derivatives (preferred)

  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Python is preferred but not required.
