Expected tasks and activities :
The Developer will perform the following tasks:
· Participate in the design, development, integration, and maintenance of the ecosystem related to the application scope.
· Participate in maintaining operational conditions and ensuring compliance with the quality of service of the application scope.
· Ensure that the ecosystem related to the application scope complies with the architectural principles and security policy defined within the Group.
· Be a proactive contributor to business partners.
· Contribute to maintaining a high level of skills within the team
· Contribute to the stability of the applications mentioned in production and contribute to compliance with DWS Control Tower processes
Profile required
Role / Job Summary –
ü Designing, Planning, and Implementing System Center Configuration Manager, such as:
Planning System Center Configuration Manager hierarchy and site system roles.
ü Creating and managing Boundary Groups across one or more Distribution Points.
ü Management of site communications. (DRS, Bandwidth, Senders, Secondary Sites, etc.)
ü Role-Based Administration: Managing custom roles and security scopes.
ü Planning and securing SCCM using security certificates.
ü General monitoring of site health via SSRS, log files, and the SCCM console.
ü Planning, configuring and implementing a backup plan to mitigate the loss of SCCM services in the event of a disaster with the least amount of data loss possible.
ü Manage Upgrades: Current Branch to next release using In-Console Upgrades.
ü Client Agent Upgrades Manage and configure User and Device collections including Creating query-based collections Configuring Site Collection Maintenance Windows.
ü Build / Capture / Update Windows 11 images and Manage images (updating of Drivers, etc.)
ü Creating Distribution Points and distributing the images accordingly.
ü Creating a deployment Task Sequence and deploying the Task Sequence.
ü Autopilot, Co-Management, Conditional Access, device policies and supporting technologies.
ü Microsoft Endpoint Management – Responsibilities of device management, maintaining the Intune/Autopilot environment OSD creation/maintenance, Windows Patching, Policy creation.
ü Deliver all services following ITIL methodology for Service Creation, including the following: IT Service Card;
Standard Operating Procedures / Work Instructions.
ü Responsible for automating server setup & configurations across a distributed infrastructure.
ü Scripting and automation of manual processes. Auditing of existing scripts to make them more optimized and improved.
ü Good Windows PowerShell scripting experience.
ü Hands-on with PowerShell Workflows development.
Years of Experience
· 8-12 years of relevant experience in SCCM based configuration and release management.
· 8 or more years of overall IT experience.
· Qualification / Certification –
· Diploma / Degree (mandatory)
· Certification on MD-102
· ITIL Foundation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
· SCCM CB Operation’s and infrastructure management:
· Manage daily health check on SCCM infra.
· Managing MP, DP and other SCCM components.
· Troubleshooting replication issues, site replication issues, database replication issues, Package distribution issues.
· Good knowledge on package/Application distribution flow.
· Good knowledge IIS (internet information service), troubleshooting knowledge of IIS logs
· Good knowledge on WMI
· Good knowledge on Server side SCCM infra logs and ability to analyze it
· Troubleshoot incidents and provide guidance to L1, L2 team members
· Opening tickets with Microsoft support and working with them to resolve it
· Should be able to automate the reporting, health checks of the infrastructure and such other day to day activities his self-using scripting tools like VB Scripting / PowerShell
· Monitoring of SCCM with SCOM
· In addition to the above, candidate must have experience in:
· Windows Server 2008 /2012/2016
· Client OS like Windows 7 / 10.
· SQL Server
Communication & Documentation :
· Excellent communication & Documentation skills.
Good to have skills / Experience –
· Symantec AV administration (or any other AV tool)
· AD / GPO / DFS / File / Print / DHCP server administration
· Ticketing tool and ITIL framework
