Job Description
PROLE DESCRIPTION (SUMMARY):
Within Trade Support Unit of the Operations Department, the Trade Capture team oversees the recording of the transactions in the information systems, under delegation of the Front-office.
This position handles primary duties including but not limited to Trade Capture function in middle office operations. This position includes Individual contributor role on Production and playing a supervisory role on Production topics ; handling of additional projects which helps in process improvements as required and lending expertise to others. In this context and in close relation with the Front-office and all the support functions (Middle Office, Back Office, Risk Division, Finance department, IT Division…), you will be in charge of the following missions:
Monitoring all the activities handled by the team. Manage Cross trainings of Junior Staff. nGuiding and leading the team in the right direction based on the requirements.
nSupervising and taking charge of all outstanding issues, Capex management and pending cases and handling production escalations.
nParticipate in weekly production related calls and providing expertise in various topics under discussion
nPerform UAT's and participate in various projects related to his / her asset of expertise.
nAlign processes and help the team in harmonizing and standardizing activities.
nHelp in creation and review of SOP and procedural maps and representations.
nEnsuring all the relevant controls and activities are performed by the juniors on time and no key risk are outstanding.
nParticipate in forums to discuss and lend ideas for process improvements and risk mitigations.
nBooking and Amendments of the vanilla or exotic deals and negotiated events in the information system, under delegation of the Front Office.
nQuality and exhaustiveness control
nAnalysis and amendments of the breaks raised by the Control teams, Back office teams and the other stakeholders (such as ROCS QTY).
Coordination between the Front Office and all the support functions of requests for information and the problem resolutions
nUnderstand the Function’s ambitions - Trasfer booking to FO, Reduce Rework and Increase Automation and work accordingly towards it.
nDevelop expertise on all Derivative products , tools and good understanding on Operational Risk. nProduce the indicators of risk (KRI) or performance (KPI) of the activity of the Team.
nReport and escalate Client Incidents; Know your Key clients and always demonstrate good client focus
nContribute towards CI Practices by Attending WB, Cross trainings, setting up PSS on non-value-added items and recurrent issues and challenging the status quo.
nGood understanding on OR in your respective scope and ensure KRI’s or anomalies are escalated in a timely manner and daily checks are tracked via Task tracker / Morse
nEnsure 100% accuracy and quality is maintained.

nFollow-up of the transverse problems (systems…), ; Participate to projects of to make the processes more robust,
nParticipate to projects of automation and convergence of the processes,
n Contribute to impact analysis for the development of new activities (NPC),
