Fixed Income and Currencies Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain robust and performant pricing systems for the fixed income business
- Be the first point of contact and assist traders and sales with pricing related issues
- Partner with traders, quantitative analysts, and fellow technology teams to enhance our platform
- Be part of a worldwide team with locations in Hong Kong, Paris, London, and New York
- Understand business requirements and constraints in Asian and global fixed income markets
Profile required
- Technical knowledge in one or more OOP languages, ideally C# with .NET, ASP.NET, Java or C++
- Experience in using CI/CD tools like GitHub (Actions), Gerrit, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and Jira
- Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues in a high-pressure environmen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to suit the audience
- Ability to work as part of large global teams and on global applications
- Exceptional team-player mindset helping to promote team sprit
- Ability to work in an international and distributed team environment
Preferred:
- Experience developing and supporting front office applications, ideally in the fixed income space
- Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, NATS or Kafka
- Experience building web UIs using frameworks like React, Angular or Vue
- Experience building robust and scalable real-time web applications with ASP.NET and SignalR
- Experience with cloud-native applications using docker and K8s on Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience with WPF and MVVM design patterns using DevExpress
- Knowledge of fixed income products (e.g., bonds, interest rate swaps, FX swaps, etc.)

Department Description
As part of the Technology department of Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, you will join an agile development team building pricing solutions for the rates and FX trading desk.
The team is located on the trading floor and operates as a feature team to develop and support fixed income trading pricing systems. It is composed of developers with expertise on the entire fixed income pricing chain, working together as one, to ensure self-sufficiency and proactive incident resolution at all stages of the software development process.
