Internship - Sustainable Technology Researcher (CDD 6 months)
Responsibilities
*6 months contract*
This Learn‑by‑Doing internship offers hands-on experience in Sustainable Technology, Responsible AI, and modern education initiatives. The role focuses on producing a youth‑focused report on sustainable tech principles and proposing a technology training standard for Citizenship education projects. Work under the guidance of the CSR Head on both topics and in consultation with internal stakeholders.
What you will do:
1. Sustainable Technology & Responsible AI
- Review key literature on sustainable tech and responsible AI (e.g., OECD guidance).
- Consult with IT specialists in SG GSC about the existing good practices.
- Organize a student dialogue across the GCOO perimeter to collect insights on AI expectations and principles.
- Produce a concise report combining research and student perspectives.
- Present the report’s findings to a key stakeholder’s group within the GCOO CSR community
2. Education Projects Reform
- Alongside COMM and Citizenship specialist of GSC Romania, analyze existing Citizenship education projects and their theory of change.
- Research best practices in digital and AI literacy for teachers and students.
- Propose a modern technology training standard and present actionable recommendations.
Profile required
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Student or graduate in Technology, Education, Social Sciences, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Interest in technology, AI, sustainability, and education.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English and French language, both written and spoken
- Experience in student dialogue/talks, international presentations or events would be a plus
