Responsibilities

The Back Office Post Exchange team is responsible for account reconciliations in various currencies, as well as settlements and claims. The team works closely with the Middle Office, which communicates with clients, and with the Exchange team, which manages day‑to‑day payments.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Processing of claims and investigations for related product and processes (mainly credit transfers and direct debits)

  • Monitoring and reconciliation of nostri and internal accounts including justification and regularization action

  • Processing of charges and  corrections

  • Cooperating with other Departments of Societe Generale

  • Preparing reports and statistics as part of local regulatory obligations and internal rules

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have experience working in a back‑office function within a bank or financial institution

  • You have a good understanding of banking products and settlements (SEPA, SWIFT, TARGET, etc.); experience in commercial payments is an advantage

  • You have very good command of English and Polish; fluency in French is an asset

  • You enjoy working both as part of a team and independently

  • You are detail‑oriented and demonstrate exceptional accuracy

  • You are curious, proactive, and willing to take initiative
