Responsibilities

Act as the point of contact for the development teams for all infrastructure related needs.

·       Coordinate the delivery of the infrastructure supporting all the Bernstein applications, including servers, storage, databases, file transfers, messaging, scheduling, network, and market data. Involve the SMEs as needed. This work is across all SG technology functions.

·       Provision and manage infrastructure, preferably using infrastructure as code (Terraform)

·       Configure Windows and Linux virtual servers using configuration as code (Ansible)

·       Implement CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Node, and Python applications (Github Actions, Jenkins)

·       Enforce secure by design practices (secret management, code scanning, patching…)

·       Implement business continuity for critical applications (high availability, backups…)

·       Implement scheduling jobs (Airflow, Control-M)

·       Implement ITIL processes (CMRM, incident/problem management)

·       Share technical knowledge and best practices. Deliver reusable artifacts whenever possible (documentation, templates, modules…)

Profile required

  • Strong knowledge of SG development practices and environments

  • ·       Strong knowledge of SG infrastructure solutions (Cloud Gen 2, Azure)

  • ·       Strong knowledge of SG CI/CD solutions (Github Enterprise, Jenkins, JFrog, ArgoCD, Sonar)

  • ·       10 or more years’ experience in a developer, operations, or sys admin role.

  • ·       Ability to coordinate and oversee infrastructure teams’ execution.

  • ·       Experience in application development, IT operations, Windows, Linux, SQL Server, Kubernetes, Azure, networking, scheduling, monitoring, and middleware, with the ability to communicate with SMEs.

  • ·       Experience in migrating applications to cloud (private or public), and the changes needed to leverage cloud services.

  • ·       Experience in infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)

  • ·       Experience in configuration as code (preferably Ansible)

  • ·       Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (Github Enterprise, Jenkins, JFrog) for .NET, Python, Node applications

  • ·       Familiar with security best practices (secure by design, zero trust, secret management…)

  • ·       Self-starter, proactive and works well with diverse groups.

  • ·       Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • ·       Comfortable in facilitating the delivery of IT services.
