Lead Software Engineer - BI tester: SQL, SAS, SAS DI, ETL
Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a BI Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience in the banking sector, and a solid understanding of risk-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test cases for BI reports, dashboards, and data pipelines.
Validate data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources.
Perform SQL-based data validation and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
Document test results and provide clear feedback for improvements.
Profile required
Requirements
Strong SQL knowledge (querying, data validation, troubleshooting).
Experience in banking or financial services.
Familiarity with risk processes in banking (e.g., default, recovery) is a plus.
Understanding of BI tools and data warehousing concepts.
Understanding SAS Data Integration jobs, SAS code, for validating transformations, data mappings and cross-system integrations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
Experience with ETL testing and data quality frameworks.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance in banking.
