Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solutions center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high quality professional services in over 35 countries in various business areas - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. IT Filiere is part of the Centre and comprises four Perimeters: Retail Banking, Security and Infrastructure, Internal Support Applications and Investment Banking, with a total of more than 800 IT professionals.

Project Description:

Within the Société Générale group, you will join GBTO, which is the IT entity in charge of software for the Investment Bank, and you will help us develop the next generation pre-trade chain inside Société Générale. You will work on the structured products pricing tool (Tessa) to implement new business features and to improve the scalability/performance of the chain to triple the volumes by end 2026. You may also work on IWC, an application that manages custom financial indices, and on Dynamix, an application responsible for calculating profit margin.

Specifically, you will be required to:

·        Perform technical studies to take in charge users stories present in team backlog;

·        Contribute to design and setup technical  solutions (architecture, tools, platforms);

·        Implementation of the functionalities can be at the  level of Front/Back,  plugins, API or Framework;

·        Performs continous integration;

·        Conduct code review in close relation with the team;

·        Write technical specifications;

·        Environment set-up for development and homologation;

·        Deliver trainings and documentation for the new features;

·        L3 Support for the applications developed.

Profile required

·        5+ years experience in C# development and with OpenSource frameworks (ex: .NET Core);

·        Experience in web development using different frameworks (ReactJs is preferred);

·        Knowledge of norms and standards regarding REST, JSON;

·        Good knowlegde of Visual Studio, Github and unit testing frameworks;

·        Good knowledge of relational databases (ex: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL);

·        Good knowledge of NoSQL databases (ex: MongoDb);

·        Good knowledge of CICD Tools (TeamCity, Octopus, Github Actions)

·        A good combination of rigor, creativity, communication skills, critical reasoning and systems thinking;

·        Good command of English, French is a plus.
