Responsibilities

You will be working alongside the structured products sales desks on the trading floor in Zurich and be part of a young, dynamic, tight-knit sales team. You will be in frequent contact with the sales-, trading-, engineering-, middle- back office and support teams as well as our institutional clients with full exposure to the fast-paced trading floor environment.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Booking of primary transactions

  • Providing clients with product related information and documents

  • Manage the flow from front to back office of new issuances as well as inventory products

  • Booking and setting up traded products in various systems (Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs)

  • Helping clients with product specific requests such as corporate action adjustments in the legal documentation, correcting missing or faulty price quotations on Bloomberg, Reuters etc., making sure that clients are informed about redemption or other payment details of new issuances and inventory products

  • Preparing and checking the product specific legal documentation (Termsheets, Final terms etc.)

  • Managing various data bases to keep track of the flow and product inventory involving occasional projects to automate or simplify processes

  • Strengthening of the relationship with internal / external stakeholders

  • Stellar handling of above-mentioned tasks in a diligent and responsible manner

  • Absence of errors and internal/ external disputes

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputable Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization

  • Previous experience in financial markets, academically and/or professionally would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • English: C1

  • French or German would be considered an advantage, but not essential

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of application, especially excelAcademic background in financial markets and/or derivatives

  • Good communication skills

  • Client orientation

  • Proactive

  • Self-motivated

  • Conscientious person with a strong sense of responsibility
