M&A Vice President

Tasks and responsibilities:

The Senior Associate / Junior Vice President will actively support and lead several aspects of deal execution, including:

• Managing the day-to-day execution of M&A transactions from early-stage analysis to closing

• Coordinating and overseeing due diligence workflows (financial, legal, tax, commercial, etc.) with internal and external stakeholders

• Drafting, reviewing and supervising preparation of key transaction materials, such as teasers, information memoranda, management presentations and process documentation

• Leading valuation workstreams, including financial modelling, business plan analysis and contribution to transaction structuring

• Supporting negotiation phases, working closely with senior team members and external advisors

• Collaborating across teams (industry groups, country teams, ECM/DCM, leveraged finance, etc.) during origination and execution

• Managing timelines, deliverables and execution risks, ensuring high-quality output under tight deadlines

Studies & experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in Investment Banking at a top-tier investment bank or reputable M&A boutique

• Strong academic background from a leading university or business school

Language skills:

• Italian: C2

• English: C1

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proven understanding of the Italian private equity landscape and M&A market dynamics

• Solid knowledge of transaction documentation and deal structuring mechanics

• Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of workstreams, and collaborate effectively in a team-driven environment

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
