Lead Software Engineer - Tech Support & Admin in Tribe Operations
Responsibilities
Role Overview
The IT Operations Support Specialist provides application and operational support for critical Retail Lending systems .The role focuses on maintaining system stability, managing controlled access across environments, and ensuring compliance with security and audit requirements. The position operates under Tribe procedures and collaborates closely with internal IT, INFRA, PROD, Development teams, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Operations Support: monitor application health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve service requests within agreed SLAs.
Escalate complex issues to internal teams or vendors when required.
Execute user access management activities in line with USRR (User Security Roles & Rights) policies.
Create, modify, and revoke user access across controlled environments.
Maintain full traceability and documentation of access changes for audit purposes.
Support and operate across multiple environments on specific requests and in collaboration with tech team assigned din tribe on: Development (DEV), Test / UAT
Pre-Production, Production (PROD).
Ensure strict segregation of environments and adherence to security policies.
Validate access requests based on environment-specific controls and approvals.
Participate in release and deployment activities for Retail Lending packages.
Provide operational support during go-live and post-release stabilization.
Follow Change Management processes (RFC review, impact assessment, implementation support).
Adhere to internal IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all activities are logged and auditable.
Technical Skills & Experience
Profile required
Required:
Proven experience in IT Operations or Application Support within enterprise environments.
Experience working as an external/vendor resource under strict governance.
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Working knowledge of:
Windows and/or Linux operating systems
SQL (basic to intermediate level)
Enterprise application architectures
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy).
Hands-on experience with user access management and role-based access control.
Familiarity with IAM tools and access approval workflows.
Strong awareness of IT security and audit requirements in regulated environments.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Clear and structured communication with internal stakeholders.
Ability to follow defined procedures and escalation paths.
High level of attention to detail, especially regarding security and access.
Ability to work independently while aligned with internal teams.
Education & Language
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
English proficiency: intermediate to advanced (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
Experience in Retail Banking or Lending systems.
Exposure to core banking platforms.
Familiarity with Agile / DevOps delivery models.
