Real Estate Leasing Intern – M/F/D
Responsibilities
With more than 40 years of experience in the sector, GENEFIM, a real estate leasing subsidiary of Société Générale in Spain, has extensive expertise in cash-flow analysis, structured financing, and asset valuation.
During the 6-month internship we are offering, the intern will not only learn about this environment but will also carry out this mission closely with the head of the department.
He/she will provide support to the Spanish Genefim in the administrative tasks of the branch and in commercial development.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Commercial activity: Support the director in commercial activities
Committee preparation: Support in drafting committee documents; market analysis; client financial analysis; business plan review; asset analysis, valuation, location, and lease status; support with macroeconomic and competitive analysis
Follow-up of cases/files: KYC, taxes and fees, insurance, valuations
Annual review of files: Support in analysing client activity, reviewing clients’ financial statements and counterparty risk, and assisting in the counterparty rating process
Various tasks: Support with tasks related to the branch’s accounting as well as different audits (accounting, AML, data protection), processing invoice payments (case-related or general expenses), drafting procedures
Profile required
Studies & experience:
University degree in law, finance, business etc.
Agreement with University absolutely mandatory (Convenio de Práctica)
Language skills:
Spanish: C1
English: C1
French: C1
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Rigour and accuracy in work and follow-up analyses
Strong adaptability and integration capacity within the team
Excellent organizational skills
Cooperation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
