Trainee
Responsibilities
To support relationship managers to maintain relationships with existing clients, in line with the local business plan and global account strategies
To support relationship managers to originate new relationships, by conducting client pre-screenings, checking rating, analyzing financial data, and preparing presentations
To support relationship managers with
- Administrative tasks, e.g. preparing documents, internal reporting, booking client and internal meetings, printing client presentations, collecting drawdown documents, preparing facility documentation
- Various KYC and compliance related issues
- Calculating basic indicators, e.g. RWA, RAROC, and RGCP
- Preparing industry analyses to support business development
- To support the team head to prepare statistics, data sets, presentations, and various reporting
- Assist on special credit related assignments and projects as required
- Other ad hoc tasks / relevant responsibilities as assigned by the team head
Profile required
- Bachelor’s degree (finance or business discipline, master’s degree is a plus)
- Fresh graduates or candidates with some initial exposure to financial risk analysis or assist corporate relationship management
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
- Basic knowledge on commercial banking products is a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Team player
- Capable to work and deliver timely and sometimes under pressure
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
- Well versed in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must)

Department Description
Responsible for increasing the corporate customer base, strengthening the interaction with existing customers, and providing customers with creative value-added products and services that are distinct from their competitors. At the same time, on the basis of comprehensive consideration of customer demand and overall risk/return assessment of the bank, recommend and design appropriate products and solutions for the customer.
