  • About the Role
    We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Sybase Developer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Sybase ASE, strong SQL proficiency, and significant exposure to developing and tuning stored procedures and other DB objects. As a lead, you will guide development efforts, provide technical leadership, and ensure high-performance, scalable database solutions

  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in database development using Sybase ASE/IQ.
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working closely with application teams on integrated backend solutions.
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, data modeling, indexing, transactions, and concurrency.
  • Proven experience with production issue investigation and resolution.
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Sybase DBA activities.
  • Exposure to Java backend development (Spring, REST APIs, JDBC, ORM frameworks).
  • Experience in Unix/Linux environments for scripting and DB automation.
