Responsibilities

Job Title: Consultant Expert – Public Cloud (GTE/CLD/TPP Team)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced public cloud consultant/expert – domain experience ranging between 8-15 years requiring strong hands‑on expertise in cloud infrastructure and the ability to drive cloud adoption initiatives across the organization.

 Key Responsibilities

  • You will be a key member of the Cloud Professional Services team, responsible for:

  • Collaborating effectively with global, cross‑functional teams with a focus on teamwork and mentoring.
  • Playing an active role in training, consulting, and enabling internal teams to build cloud competencies and accelerate cloud adoption/migration across the organization.
  • Identifying customer needs and proposing new services, capabilities, and modernization opportunities in private cloud environments.
  • Ensuring all solutions incorporate best practices for multi‑cloud security, governance, and operational reliability.
  • Evaluating new technologies, conducting proof‑of‑concepts, and providing hands‑on implementation guidance.
  • Developing and maintaining automation workflows, scripts, or tooling using Python programming languages.


  • Stakeholder Management 

  • Build strong relationships with Product Owners and key business stakeholders.

  • Provide product vision and strategic direction to the team.


  • Continuous Improvement 

  • Promote best practices in cloud engineering, DevOps, and automation.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on knowledge across major cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) including compute, storage, networking, databases, middleware, serverless, and security.
  • Good understanding of multi‑cloud networking concepts such as virtual networks, gateways, VPNs, and public/private/elastic IPs.
  • Handson experience with cloud services.
  • Practical experience with containerization.
  • Solid knowledge of Cloud Security including IAM, threat mitigation, and zero‑trust/default‑deny models.
  • Hands‑on experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Cloud Blueprints.
  • Ability to write, understand, and maintain automation pipelines, scripts, or orchestration workflows using Python or comparable programming languages.
  • Experience designing or adopting CI/CD frameworks and infrastructure provisioning blueprints is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑native design patterns and modernization of legacy applications for cloud deployment.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and knowledge‑sharing skills with the ability to train teams, mentor engineers, and actively encourage cloud adoption across the organization.

  • Preferred Certifications: Azure/AWS Certified Solution Architect or DevOps professional..

  • Excellent understanding of business domain, operating environment, constraints, and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with external teams for high performance.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence and drive change across teams.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed, cross-country team
