Specialist Systems Engineer - Informatica
Responsibilities
- Excellent administration skills with tools like Informatica, SQL Developer, Putty & other client supporting tools.
- Good experience in Installation, configuration, maintenance& troubleshooting of Informatica Server/client.
- Monitoring and performance tuning skill
- Should be able to configure Informatica server on AWS & RHEL environment.
- Installed and configured Informatica Power Center (Server and Client) on UNIX and Windows platforms and configured the domain and application services.
- Excellent troubleshooting skill and good knowledge about Workflow ,session functions and User security, LDAP authentication, SSL configuration, Logger services
- Promoting Informatica Mappings/Sessions/Workflows from one environment to another environments.
- Should be able to perform Backup / Recovery of Informatica repository Domain and configurations.
- Should be able to manage complex environmental issues and on time resolution, Excellent communication skills with effective co-ordination among internal teams and Clients
- It will be good having experience on Shell scripting/Python.
- knowledge on informatica migration to other Informatica latest versions and preferrable to CDI-PC migration knowledge.
- Knowledge on Informatica CDC PWX loggers and listeners setup and maintenance.
- Managing the 24/7 PROD support environment(oncall)
- Basic TALEND experience
Profile required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with strong technical solution mindset
- 7+ years of experience with Informatica Administration activities
- Candidate must possess 5+ years of experience supporting production issues in a large production environment
- Experience in UNIX OS and Shell/Python script and Basic SQL and Java knowledge
- Ability to understand and debug Informatica administration and development related issues
- Experience in providing architectural solutions for ETL platform
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and self-starter
