Trainee
Responsibilities
- Regulatory watch, regulation notices summary & distribution.
- Assisting gap analysis to new regulations and implementation of regulatory requirements in the bank.
- Regulatory survey & routine reporting processing.
- Preparation of internal meeting materials and meeting minutes.
- Assisting regular review and update on internal policies and procedures.
- Case log and follow up.
- Assisting Compliance training program coordination at bank level and provide specific training on new regulations.
- Preparation and distribution of the monthly Compliance Alert.
- Support for CPLE team members and team admin tasks.
- Other tasks / assignment from the supervisor(s).
Profile required
- Bachelor degree, preferred major in Business, Finance or Law
- Minimum 1 years work experience in foreign bank, better with compliance or operations area;
- Familiar with local NFRA/SAFE/ PBOC rules & regulations and relevant compliance policies;
- Independent, self-motivated and detail-focused;
- Able to work prudently under pressure;
- Good command of verbal and written English and excellent communication skills;
- Literate in MS applications, WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsible for assisting the senior management in effectively identifying and managing compliance risks, including the circulation of laws and regulations, establishment of compliance documents, compliance training, compliance review, compliance risk inspection and other compliance risk management activities.
