Senior Analyst - MCC
Responsibilities
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for delivering reports and dashboards using Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel at the required frequency.
The role includes designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards with scheduled data refreshes in report server/Power BI service
The candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Paris and work alongside cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable analytical insights, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability within the given timeframe.
This role requires strong expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, Agile methodologies, and hands‑on experience in building robust data reporting solutions.
Profile required
Power BI Development
- Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI.
- Implement DAX calculations, data transformations, and report-level security.
- Ensure visualizations adhere to best practices for usability and performance.
Data Management & ETL
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Work with large datasets and ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows.
- Collaborate with data lake and cube teams to improve data pipelines and data quality.
- Maintain strong understanding of data warehousing concepts such as fact/dimension modeling, star schemas, and data marts.
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze internal controls data and deliver clear, insight‑driven reports with commentary.
- Translate business requirements into effective analytical and reporting solutions.
- Respond to report‑related queries and support data cleanup, processing, and analysis.
- Perform root‑cause analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all reporting layers.
- Escalate reporting issues to management promptly.
- Define, track, and report KPIs and KRIs for key processes.
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business and data needs.
- Communicate effectively and maintain strong working relationships.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail
Agile Collaboration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with product owners, BI developers, and business stakeholders for iterative delivery.
