Responsibilities

Job Title: Lead QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the highest quality standards for our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium, and will be passionate about driving quality across all stages of development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual Testing & UAT Support
    • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing before UAT sign-off.
    • Validate new features and ensure readiness for production deployment.
  • Automation & Test Strategy
    • Design and implement automation scripts across the test pyramid (unit, integration, end-to-end).
    • Ensure automation coverage for critical workflows using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
    • Maintain and enhance automated test suites for scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboration & Quality Governance
    • Coordinate with development teams to ensure adequate unit test coverage.
    • Drive quality assurance as a collective responsibility, ensuring robust test strategies are in place.
    • Promote BDD practices and maintain living documentation for test scenarios.
  • Production Monitoring & Feedback Loop
    • Implement automated sanity checks and monitoring in production environments.
    • Analyze production issues and establish preventive measures through continuous feedback loops.
  • Performance & Non-Functional Testing
    • Conduct performance testing and identify bottlenecks (good to have experience in tools like JMeter or Gatling).
 

Profile required

Profile Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years in QA, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
    • Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
    • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
  • Domain Knowledge: Exposure to Investment Banking domain is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead teams and drive quality initiatives.
  • Other: Should have been engaged in at least one project for 10+ months.
